Ram Warranty

The Seller warrants that the rams sold are free from defects in health and are suitable for normal agricultural purposes at the time of sale. This warranty is valid for a period of two service seasons a maximum of 18 months from the date of purchase. This warranty applies solely to the original buyer and is non-transferable.

Exclusions:

This warranty does not cover:

1. Death or injury caused by disease.

2. Conditions resulting from improper care, management, or nutrition.

3. Injuries or deaths resulting from accidents, negligence, or maltreatment.

4. Normal aging processes and natural wear and tear.

5. Damage or loss caused by acts of nature, including but not limited to predators, severe weather, and natural disasters.

6. Any consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of use, profits, or breeding potential, regardless of the theory of liability.

7. Any alterations or treatments performed by anyone other than the Seller or its authorized representatives.

Claims and Verification:

To invoke this warranty, the buyer must notify the Seller of any covered defect or issue within the warranty period and provide proof of purchase. In the event of a sheep’s death, the buyer must obtain a signed statement from a licensed veterinarian certifying the cause of death. This statement must clearly indicate that the death was not due to disease.

The Seller will, at its sole discretion, replace the defective sheep or offer a refund of the purchase price upon receipt and verification of the veterinarian’s certification. Any transportation costs for returning rams to the Seller for assessment or replacement are the responsibility of the buyer.
